Some company’s will tell you the hard drive is faulty and needs replacing this is not the case. Normally it’s a windows update that’s corrupted or not installed correctly. How to fix is not always straight forward but sometimes just booting into safe mode (hold down the Shift key during boot-up) will do the trick.

The easy way to fix this is to remove and reinstall your printer drivers. Go to control panel, select devices and printers, right-click on your printer and opt to remove. Then go to your printer manufacturer’s website and download and install the latest appropriate drivers for printer model.
